Cool place. BUT their return policy is NOT cool at all. Had a basket that we knew immediately when we got home it wouldnt work. Called but they would only give us a credit even if returned immediately $200. Have a drink, buy elsewhere.

Loved this place when we went in 2024. Went back today for my birthday with our toddler who just started walking and was disappointed to see that you now have to pay to walk in/sit in most of the cool outdoor spots, and those areas are 18+ only. Drinks were still excellent, but I think the owners made a poor choice making the coolest areas off limits to families. We went thinking it would be similar to a lot of breweries these days - parents get a drink and kids get a space to walk around, but that is not the case. I guess we won’t be back for 17+ years…
We visited in June of 2025, loved it, and then again in June of 2026… and the differences are stark. In 2025, you could walk around the garden, and there was plenty of selection. This year, almost off of the garden is roped off for people to rent private seating areas (why?). You can only walk around a small part of the garden and there are very few plants for sale. The management is clearly less and less interested in the retail part of the business and now mostly focused on events. It was a huge disappointment because it is very far out of the way and we basically walked around for 5 minutes and got back in the car. I love the garden but now I don’t know if I’ll be back.
Finally got to visit the Black Shed this past Sunday and ended up being there for 3 hours! The landscape is amazing and so much thought has gone into each section. Food trucks are clutch after getting a cocktail from the bar. Go see Greg! He makes a delicious frozen pineapple margarita!
