Unfortunately, our experience ended on a very disappointing note. We came in after calling ahead and were told to bring photos of our yard so someone could help us choose plants. Renee spent time helping us, which we appreciated. However, when we asked if there was any discount on an $800+ order, her attitude changed completely. We were made to feel like an inconvenience because it was slightly past closing. The final straw was when I asked for a copy of the handwritten plant list we had just created together. I explained I needed it for my landscaper the next morning, but she took the paper away and refused to let me have it. As we were leaving, she came outside to tell us to leave the property, and when we politely shared our disappointment, she became argumentative. Great customer service doesn’t end at closing time. We left feeling unwelcome and decided to spend our money elsewhere.

Everything was great, knowledgeable staff, seemed friendly enough, until we were about to pull the trigger on an $875 purchase of plants / trees. It was slightly over time, 10 or 15 minutes after closing, and the lady help8ng us took a very patronising tone and attitude with my wife. Calling her "young lady", as if she's was child. "I gave you an inch and you're taking a mile", apparently for helping us past her leaving time and expecting us to be oh so grateful that she wasn't charging for her advice (something they usually charge for apparently). Great knowledge, terrible attitude, feigning surprise that her attitude came across as anything other than patronising. Considering the prices of their plants, they shouldn't be making a huge deal of having the help their customers. Disappointing.
Nice selection of plants. Helped me choose and style plants for my pots. Helpful, attentive and service with a smile.
I called ahead of time and spoke to a gentleman named Cos to make sure that he had a specific plant that was looking for. He said he did but there was only one left so I immediately went over. When I got there, by mistake I pulled on to his hose that he was using to water plants. I apologized as I am in a new vehicle and it's much bigger than anything I've ever had. He proceeded to say that's why he has an entire parking lot where you can park, pretty much yelling at me. The parking lot is not well-defined and I did in fact park in front of a stanchion. Either way I would have had to have driven over his hose to get to the other area of the parking lot. So I left and went to Dreyer Farms in Cranford. At 50 years old I can only count on one hand how many times I've been treated so poorly by a business owner. HIs poor attitude certainly gives people a reason to go to big box stores instead. I will never shop there again. And the sad part is is my father only shopped there when he was alive to support a small local business, despite their exorbitant prices.
Always a great selection of healthy plants
