I was concerned about taking care of a carnivorous plant because I had failed with 2 plants prior. He gave me very clear instructions and it’s been thriving for a few weeks now. I used it to teach my special needs science group about carnivorous plants.

I’ve had a variety of plants from Seemore Carnivorous Gardens over the years. With proper care they flourish spectacularly. Eric has decades of knowledge with these plants and provides instructions for their care.

I purchased a Venus Fly trap from Eric this summer at Kings Park Day. First, let me say that his plants are beautiful and so well taken care of. It was difficult for me to pick one because they all looked so amazing. I ended up choosing a King Henry and brought it home and planted it in a mug using the moss that was given with the plant. The plant was doing absolutely amazing for months outside in my backyard with an appropriate amount of sun and plenty of rain water. Unfortunately, we had terrible rain overnight one night and when I woke up the next day and checked on the plant, the mug was completely flooded. I brought the plant inside and tried to dry it out myself but I honestly wasn’t entirely sure of what I was doing. I should have reached out to Eric for advice sooner than I did. The plant eventually dried out but didn’t look good at all and it started to grow a long stem out of the center which I thought maybe could have been a good sign. I finally contacted Eric to ask for advice and he went absolutely above and beyond to help me. He advised that the plant was extremely stressed but not completely a lost cause. He went over the care instructions with me again and gave me some tips and tricks to get my plant feeling well again. As a backup, in case my plant didn’t recover, he sent me a new King Henry plant in which he named “King Henry II”, which I thought was hilarious. He really was so helpful and generous. I’m happy to say that I was able to get King Henry 1st in much better spirits and he’s looking so much better in just 2 short weeks. This was an extremely pleasant experience and I look forward to purchasing more plants in the future after I become more confident in the husbandry skills that I develop. Thanks again Eric!

We first met Eric at one of his flea market booths and bought our first Venus Flytrap. After that great experience, we stopped by the greenhouse and bought another. He is so knowledgeable and friendly. It’s easy to see how much he cares about these incredible bug-eaters! Thank you again!
