Totally would not mind paying top dollar, If the outcome of what I got from that matched…. But unfortunately it did not with this company. I hired them to come in and plant a privacy hedge across my back yard. They sold me 55 green giants (4-5ft) most were a full 3.5 ft. With sparse tops that added in an extra 12-24 inches. Okay, I can live with that. They told me they also had to plant them, so I paid a “wholesale price” for each tree and they charged me additional for the planting. Quoted roughly 6200. Then right before they were going to come they insisted I needed a “burm”. No problem… I have several other burms around my yard so I figured it would look better and keep it all cohesive. I agreed to it, for which they charged an additional almost 3k. A total just under 10k. Only to dump a bunch of top soil in, so the workers could more easily plant rather than actually dig down and plant them into the ground. NO edging, NO mulch… just plain old ugly top soil dumped on top labeled a “burm”. For those of you who don’t know pricing… you can get an entire dump truck of top soil for 500-600. If you look up the GOOGLE Definition of a burm, it’s defined as an area that is properly edged and covered with mulch. They charged me 3000 for dirt. So they could lazily plant the trees, and then on top of that, the workers left cigarette butts all over my yard as they were working and threw all their water bottles in my flower garden beds in front of my house… (I have little kids and dogs…. Thanks!) there was a trash can area about 20 ft away but nah, just toss them in my recently landscaped planted hydrangea beds… Then the company suggested to me to tip them additional on top of the almost 10k I paid… to which we still gave each guy 100 (total of 300 since we hadn’t discovered all their unprofessional mess at that point). Shouldn’t the company who is making 10k, be paying the workers properly??? Anyway, I digress. The company also sent me a sprinkler person who wanted an additional 2500 to add 1-2 additional sprinkler lines. So be prepared to spend top dollar, get low quality, and friendly but unprofessional workers. I would not recommend or use them again going forward. I had them do additional quotes for me for a retaining wall (I always get multiple) and surprise surprise, they were about 10-15k higher than all the other companies too. Again, if the price matched the product and work, I’d have no problem. But after that experience, I have zero confidence paying those extra thousands to this company would actually go to my house and yard projects. Have to now pay my regular landscaper who also had wanted this job and would’ve done for less… several more thousand to fix it all…. Very disappointed.

Just had 29 privacy trees planted in our backyard . Super happy with finished job . Everything was handled very timely . Would highly recommend .

Great experience start to finish. Michael & Jenette were helpful & communication was great. Pricing beat other estimates I got. Job came out amazing, better than anticipated - the crew was efficient & site was cleaned up when completed. Will recommend

I have to say that I was very nervous when I was deciding which trees to use for privacy on my property. Everyone at Discount Planting was so incredibly helpful, kind, and easy to work with! My trees were planted today and they have completely changed my backyard! It finally looks finished and so elegant! The trees are gorgeous and I will be ordering more in the upcoming months!! I highly recommend Discount Planting!!
