About the Nursery

Specialty Palm Tree Nursery. Top products: Windmill Palms, Waggie Palms, Yucca Rostrata, Tropical Plants, Corten Steel Planters. Island Wide Palm Trees is a specialty horticultural supplier based in Long Island, dedicated to the sale of cold-hardy palm tree varieties and exotic tropical plants. The nursery focuses on species capable of thriving in temperate climates, specifically specializing in Windmill Palms (Trachycarpus fortunei), Waggie Palms, and Yucca Rostrata. Their business model serves both residential homeowners looking to enhance their landscapes and commercial clients seeking aesthetic tropical installations. In addition to plant retail, they offer professional palm tree rental services for events and specialized hardware, such as Corten steel commercial estate planters, to facilitate the proper growth and presentation of their inventory. The company emphasizes climate-appropriate plant selection and provides guidance on the maintenance and care required to sustain tropical species in non-tropical environments. Their operation bridges the gap between traditional nursery supply and specialty landscaping décor.

Palms look fantastic, are in great health. Will enjoy these during summer. The planting crew are great and did a super job. They answered all questions on care during establishment phase. I love the winter kits will protect palms in in cold weather. My only regret is not getting a third tree. I suggest buying in groups of 3.

Best Palm Tree Supplier in Long Island, as far as I know. They have a phenomneal variety of palm trees. Did you know there are all different kinds of palm trees in different shapes and nick-nameable varieties? They are not all Desert Island-style palm trees, they come in various shapes and sizes, heights and durability and heartiness vary. I learned alot about palm trees. They hold up very well through the Northeastern Winter. The guy said if they don't last, they will replace them for free, but they almost never have to. They use especially durable varieties. No coconuts, sadly, but at least some of them are the cartoon palm-tree variety. They build this cool PVC-pipe lattice to transport them without damaging them. There was a guy there trimming and pruning them. But it's not too early in the season for them. Can survive entirely outdoors, year-round. Pretty cool. They are delivering on Tuesday, which is also good, because my car is not palm-tree compatible. The garden center had like two dinky plants that qualify as palm trees, and they were not in the same league. Gives a tropical atmosphere, very little maintenance required. 5*****
