Rosedale has a very accommodating, and knowledgeable staff. This is a well run Nursery with more than enough inventory to choose from.

I have been coming here for 20 years buying top quality plants, which I love Rosedale for but on my recent visit I have never seen the place look so unkept in 20 years weeds were everywhere, especially around the trees and bushes. The front area where you pick up the cart is usually lush with flowering plants and trees. Instead, they looked Baron not healthy in the weeds and some area were foot high.

I couldn't have been more excited to visit this well known nursery. ISSUE: Not a SINGLE PERSON was walking around this large space to help customers find ANYTHING across the entire span of the nursery. NO ONE. Everyone else looking for plants was talking about it...just shaking their heads. And no, I couldn't find what I was looking for so I decided to leave, frustrated as hell. As I was leaving, (out of shear curiousity) I asked somone in the gift shop (where ALL the employee were just hanging out...) where I could find what I was looking for...I was givan impossible to understand instructions on where to locate them; and I told the person I didn't understand what they were saying. This person, (everyone there for that matter) instead of physically showing me where the plants were, simply repeated the same muddled directions again... Without skipping a beat, I just walked right out of Rosedale. Stick w A+ places like Sam Bridge, Designs by Lee, and Bedford Farms...they actually have people who are engaged and passionate to help their customer find what they came to plant in their magic gardens. What a shame...
