I wanted to recognize Dan for the outstanding customer service he provided during my recent visits. My husband and I purchased a home late last summer and have been investing heavily in updating the landscaping, which has resulted in multiple trips to the nursery and the purchase of a significant number of plants. During many of our previous visits, we either encountered employees who weren't knowledgeable outside of their specific area or, unfortunately, weren't particularly attentive at all. Dan was a completely different experience. He was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, accommodating, and genuinely interested in helping us find the right plants and solutions for our landscape. He took the time to answer questions, provide guidance, and make sure we felt confident in our purchases. In an industry where great customer service can make all the difference, Dan truly stands out. He is an absolute gem, and his professionalism and dedication are a big reason we'll continue coming back. Thank you, Dan, for making what can be an overwhelming process enjoyable and successful!

A lot of variety. Staff is friendly and helpful.
I am extremely disappointed with the customer service and refund policy experience I recently had regarding an evergreen ornamental bush we purchased and was rated to survive outside. The bush was kept alive all winter in a pot. It remained healthy through the winter and had new growth in the spring and only began slowly dying about a month ago. When I brought it back and explained the situation, I was immediately refused a refund by a worker who claimed he was the manager. What made the experience even worse was the attitude — it honestly felt like he took pleasure in denying the refund rather than trying to help a longtime customer. I was told you can’t plant our plants in pots and have the warranty in tact. It has to be planted in the ground and die. Another female worker said Ohio is too harsh for potted plants outside. I have numerous potted plants outside that do just fine. I asked where this policy was stated because I had never been told that a bush kept in a pot over winter would void any guarantee. He first claimed it was printed on the receipt, but when I pointed out it clearly was not, he had to go back into the office to search for where it supposedly stated this policy. What’s frustrating is that while waiting, I overheard several employees telling customers they could simply “bring plants back within a year if they die.” There was no mention of exceptions or conditions like this. That is very misleading. We have spent a significant amount of money at this store over the years, especially on plants and landscaping items, but after the way we were treated, they have lost our business. A loyal customer should be treated with honesty, consistency, and respect — none of which we experienced today. And all over something that cost $60.
Best selection of perennials nearby. Personnel were helpful finding what I wanted. Good quality and a bit pricey.
No matter what I'm looking for, Siebenthaler's always has it! Healthy stock, high survival rate. Friendly, helpful staff. One of my top choices for plants and yard decor.
