Cackler Family Farms

I really wanted to love this place, but the prices were far too high. Every year, we have a tradition of picking out a “Charlie Brown” tree. We were told that trees with yellow tags were discounted because of their imperfections, but these trees didn’t have price tags. After cutting down one of the yellow-tagged trees, we were shocked to find out it would cost $70. Meanwhile, there were beautiful, fuller trees priced at $80, so it didn’t make sense why our sparse, imperfect tree was so expensive.

We've gone here for a few years in a row and it's always a good experience. We love the examples of the different kinds of trees and the map to show where those trees are.

We enjoy coming here every year. Very well run operation, owned and run by a local family, huge selection of trees of all sizes and several varieties.

Larger selection of trees. They were out of maps upon arrival, which is where there current prices are listed apparently. The prices on the website aren't correct. They also charge to net your tree, which is ridiculous, the only tree farm I've ever been to who charge for a service that is part of buying the tree. They got me twice today, once on the net price ans once un the higher price than advertised.
