Hi It depends on the bulb size. It’s safe to say approx 4-7. If you want more bulbs request bulbs not as large.

I am late this year ordering garlic and the places I typically buy from are sold out. I have my own garlic I am planting but I did not want to use ALL of my garlic for planting so I needed to buy some. I am local and was able to reach out to them via email, order and pick up the same day (today)! So I have all the garlic I need to plant this weekend. They are nice BIG bulbs! I will try to remember to update this review throughout my experience growing them.

Let me lead with the fact that I’ve ordered a lot of seed garlic this year and this was by far the best!!! Large head of garlic with large cloves! Ordered rosewood hardneck and it’s perfect. I will definitely preorder from them next year since they sell out quickly. Almost the size of an apple!!!

Purchased several varieties of softneck garlic from Mad River. Extremely impressed with the size of the garlic heads and cloves. Garlic had many paper layers and very few blemishes. Much more impressive than garlic previously purchased from another source.
