I usually shop at the Strader’s on West Broad, but I was in the area and decided to visit. They have a wide variety of houseplants, pottery, and other supplies. I really enjoyed seeing all the fountains and the koi pond in the houseplant department! This might be my favorite Strader’s in the area now. The store encourages you to stroll, explore and stay awhile. This store seems to have a larger selection of indoor gardening supplies than the W. Broad store. The houseplant selection was also very large and they have ‘baby’ houseplants for as low as $4.99!! While I really enjoyed the store and found the perfect pot for an upcoming transplant, i have to remove a star after seeing several marantas with mealy bugs on them… I know that this likely can’t be helped, but please carefully look at your selections before taking them home and quarantine anything you purchase from here. Overall, I will be back but use caution!

About the Nursery
Retail and wholesale garden center. Top products: annuals, perennials, flowering trees, shrubs, ground covers. Strader's Garden Center is a multi-location horticultural business serving the Columbus, Ohio area. As a year-round operation, they specialize in the production and retail of a vast array of ornamental plant materials, including greenhouse-grown perennials, annuals, and a diverse selection of flowering trees and shrubs tailored to the local climate. Their operations focus on providing high-quality, locally grown plants alongside expert horticultural guidance for residential gardeners. Beyond their core nursery stock, the business maintains a digital infrastructure for plant identification and regional care advice, addressing local gardening challenges like shade-tolerant lawn care and native plant cultivation. By bridging the gap between production and consumer retail, Strader's serves as a primary horticultural resource for local homeowners looking to enhance their landscapes with both traditional ornamentals and North American native species.
