I have a Fire Light Hydrangea that is at least 5 ft tall. I want to prune it back by 1/3. . Most branches only have small green leaves on one nob on the branch. If I cut it back by 1/3 I'm cutting off almost all the growth will it still bloom?

I shop at the petitti garden center next door. I would stop in and ask one of the garden experts

Love this place! Plants are worth the price because they take excellent care of their product. The difference is standout from other garden centers and big box retailers...plus a return policy on them!

At the Mentor Ohio store, I want to thank Gilberto for his help in the outdoor garden center. I was in the store September 23, 2025 - he shared info and helped in selection of some plants.
