This place is my favorite place to be on the weekends. The staff are great and Lisa is amazing!! Always have such beautiful supply of plants and are always so friendly and helpful. I go at least once a week during spring, never any complaints!

LISA the rudest person ever. We own a company and we’re needing close to 2K worth of plants ordered. She was adamant. She knew nothing about it and instead of taking the time to listen and read the paper that one of the other employees wrote on with every price of every plant how many they had and how many we needed and what all locations had the ones that they didn’t have that we were going to order. We went in today with the intention to order $2000 worth of plants and containers in order to do flower beds for a commercial property. She was so incredibly rude. She informed my The company owner that she “ Heard of him and he’s nothing but trouble” And refused to help. My husband is black. She ended the conversation and walked off to help a white customer instead of trying to go over the information with my husband who was trying to order plants. This is the third time this year that we have had issues with her the time before this was two months ago when we were trying to order dirt and having someone else of color picking up the dirt. I’m not sure what the company has going on anymore. They used to be great and wonderful to work with when When I called to discuss what happened between her and my husband, she started yelling at me and wouldn’t even let me explain or read the list of flowers that I had that I was trying to order from her and instead starts yelling at me and telling me she doesn’t have to do this she doesn’t have to deal with this and she can have us barred from the property. I’m literally trying to order $2000 worth of plants to do a job. I am 100% taking my business elsewhere and 100% reporting the racism, the lack of tolerance and the prejudice that was directed towards my husband and our company that is owned by minorities. I guess one bad apple can ruin the crop because there are no other plant stores in or around our area so she thinks she’s entitled to treat anybody however she wants.

I couldn’t be happier with the work Marcum’s Nursery did for my project. From start to finish, Lisa Hays took personal ownership and made sure everything was handled perfectly. She, along with Jimmy Langford and Stephen Kendall, came out to my house multiple times to ensure every detail was right. The final product turned out amazing — better than I even imagined. The team worked fast, the pricing was very fair, but what really stood out was the exceptional quality. You can tell they truly care about doing things the right way. I highly recommend Marcum’s Nursery to anyone looking for professional, reliable, and high-quality landscaping or nursery services. They’re the real deal!
