About the Nursery

Cold-hardy tree and shrub nursery. Top products: Fruit trees, Berries, Perennials, Shrubs, Annuals. Plantscapes of Oregon is a specialized plant nursery based in the Klamath Basin, established in 1997. The business focuses on providing a wide selection of trees, shrubs, and perennials that are specifically adapted to the region's cold climate. A defining feature of their growing method is that all plants are overwintered outdoors rather than in greenhouses, ensuring high hardiness and success for local transplanting. Their product catalog includes various fruit trees such as Honey Crisp apples, Stanley plums, Red Haven peaches, and Lapins cherries, alongside berry varieties like thornless blackberries and raspberries. They also carry asparagus and rhubarb starts, as well as seasonal annuals. Serving both local homeowners and gardeners, the nursery operates out of an old red barn that also functions as a garden merchandise and gift shop. The mission of Plantscapes centers on horticultural education, providing expertise on plant selection and care tailored to the challenging growing conditions of the Klamath Basin.

4 years ago I saw a yellow flowering plant where the cars park & learned it was a Clematis. I bought one, it did well but never flowered til this year.. It bloomed PURPLE! I went in today and was very disappointed that I had to BUY a new one. I think they should have honored THEIR mistake and replaced it it.

I just stood in here breathing the peace. Then the birds outside started singing. Just closed my eyes and I enjoyed.
