They have a large selection of healthy plants, perennials, annuals and also bushes and trees. Their staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. I think it is the best nursery far and wide.

I'm not sure what is going on here but they really need to reevaluate how they manage special orders, explain the process to the customer, and more importantly how they speak to the customer. I came in a month ago looking for a specific shrub. I was told they "did not have it on site but they can certainly special order it." Thus, I ordered a 10 gallon size. I was told " it may they take a couple of days or couple weeks, we will call you." I offered my credit card and was told " don't worry about it you can pay when it gets here." I thought perfect and went on my way. Fast forward one month of waiting I decided to call. The woman that answered the phone was short with me and sounded like I was bothering her. I simply asked if I could check on my special order. She asked sharply "do you have a wish list?" I stated I don't know what that is and am simply following up on the order I was told was placed and would be coming in. The woman got a bit more frustrated and stated firmly "we don't do special orders. You can create a wish list and if what you want ever comes in we will let you know." I again explained this is not what I was told and thanked her for wasting a month of my time, especially during planting season. Why would anyone order something they need now without knowing when, if ever it would be ordered and provided. Absolutely disappointing and frustrating. Fortunately right down the road is another nursery I had not known about, and they were more than happy to help. Valley View, you can do better.
