About the Nursery

Retail Ornamental Nursery. Top products: evergreen trees, ornamental maples, flowering hanging baskets, fruit trees, pond plants. Happy Valley Nursery is a family-owned horticultural operation that has served the Happy Valley, Oregon community for over 25 years. Situated on a multi-acre property, the nursery functions as both a retail garden center and a plant supplier. Their diverse inventory focuses on ornamental landscaping materials, including a broad selection of trees, shrubs, perennials, and ornamental grasses. Specific product offerings include container-grown fruit trees, specimen maples, boxwoods, ground covers, and aquatic plants for ponds. In addition to woody perennials and landscape staples, the business maintains a seasonal selection of flower baskets and container plants. The nursery is open to the public and caters to residential homeowners looking to enhance their gardens, as well as those seeking structural landscape elements like hedges and borders. By maintaining a permanent, long-term location, they provide a consistent local source for climate-appropriate plant material.

I don’t know a ton about gardening, but I knew I wanted something that would be evergreen and climb some trellises for privacy. The man who helped me choose these jasmine plants was knowledgeable and friendly, and offered some candy to my kids, which was a hit. A few years later, my three Jasmine plants are my favorite plant in my yard.🌷I’ve been back nearly every year and they tend to have a handful of hanging mixed-flower pots, lots of larger plants for more permanent yard landscaping, and a variety of other plant options. It’s a nice place to walk around and explore. Bigger than it looks!

What an awesome little family run neighborhood nursery! We loved going there! We met the owner, Moses and he was great. Very knowledgeable. We got a blueberry bush and asian pear tree. Lots of great things there! #supportlocal

Showed up and no one was around, kinda creepy. Plants were sparse. Buildings looked dilapidated. Didn’t have vegetable type of plants. If you want some of the super common flower and landscape type plants then that’s kinda what they have but not a lot of selection.
