James and staff went out of there way to make sure we were completely happy with the install and made it happen on a tight timeline. I have purchased over 25 palms over the years from them. They always do a great job!

One of the first palms they planted did not survive. James said he would condition the soil but there were no signs of any additional soil brought in. The tree was sitting on top of the ground. It did not live. It was $250 to have them replace the tree. The replacement did not survive either. Out of the 26 other palms in my yard these two did not live. The others that I planted myself did. I ended up paying over $1000 to have only 1 tree live and it's struggling. They never responded when I contacted them about the second one dying. So now I've completed wasted $600 on 2 trees. Follow-up Review: The Real Reason for the Failure ​Updated Assessment: I’m writing this follow-up because the owner’s response above—blaming "drought stress" and a lack of irrigation—is simply a deflection from the poor installation. Since my original post, I have confirmed that both trees died because they were planted in construction sand and limestone crush-and-run base material. ​Broken Promises & Poor Foundation ​At our very first meeting, I explicitly pointed out that the soil in that area was not sufficient. The owner assured me they would bring in adequate soil to give the trees a proper foundation. They did not. Instead, they dug a hole directly into the limestone and dropped the tree in. No amount of watering can save a tree planted in a "pot" of construction debris that lacks nutrients and proper drainage. ​The Proof is in the Results ​The owner's "notes" claim the soil was just sandy; my shovel proved otherwise. ​The 26 other palms in my yard? Thriving. ​The surrounding plants? Thriving. ​The difference? I took the time to provide those plants with a good base soil, something this company refused to do despite being paid to do so. ​The Verdict ​The customer service here consists of excuses and blaming the homeowner rather than owning up to a shortcut taken during installation. I have now wasted over $1,000 to end up with a dead tree and a struggling one. ​Bottom Line: Unless you want to supervise their digging to ensure they actually bring the soil they promised, the risk isn't worth it. They will not guarantee survival if their own installation methods are the cause of death.

My go-to place for palms in Charleston. Weve bought 8 over 3 years and theyre easy to deal with. Well run company. They planted 4 for us and the installers were quick and respectful. Four others I picked up and everyone there was more than helpful.

I want to thank James, John and Jenny for there help and quick response to my project. I was having a circular driveway put in and had to have all the palm trees in prior to the concrete pour. They were 2 weeks behind delivery. James, the owner took control and had my palms in the NEXT DAY! WOW, I will never forget that. Also, after getting quotes from 4 different Nurseries they beat every price. I will be using them again for my back yard. I would defiantly recommend this company. Thanks Joe
