Bought 2 of the exact same (overpriced) trees last May, planted, and cared for them in the same way. 1 is thriving. 1 died, so I brought it back in for a replacement per their nursery stock guarantee with my receipt. I tried to bring it in within 1 year of purchase date and was rudely dismissed and told it was probably not even dead and it would not even be looked at until after Memorial Day. It was dead. It made it through most of the summer and died by last fall. I called then and was told it was probably fine and to just wait until spring. It was completely, no questions asked, dead. So the tree went back home and sat another 2 weeks and when I brought it back in again, I was told the guarantee was void because I planted it too deep. Although I had pictures of the 2 trees planted the same way ana protected in metal cages, the guarantee was not honored. If it was planted too deep, whatever, I'll learn for next time; but a little human compassion and kindness instead of condescending judgement that I do not know how to care for a tree even though the other is alive and well would be appreciated.
They lied to me on the website and wouldn’t give prices! The lady seemed to not have a very good day! Snark comments were made involving my question abt out prices on snake plants! Outrageous!
I bought $100s of their best soil and it killed ALL of my plants. I know because I planted a lot of stuff without it and everything thrived, but the stuff I planted with their top soil killed all of my plants, bushes, and trees. Of course I fertilized. This mistake cost me a lot of money. Never again.
A lovely place to while away a summer or fall morning! Prices are a bit high but quality seems to match. And where else can you pet a lovely nursery cat while browsing the plants?! 😊
