My wife brought my mother in law here before Mother’s Day to get her an apple tree. My poor wife agreed to making a transaction without a receipt. The employee gave her the tag from the apple tree, charged her $170 for the tree, and then said her husband (myself), could come get the tree, as she couldn’t fit it in her car. I’ve gone to this location multiple times to talk with the same guy about what happened. Despite showing the transaction from my banking app with their company name and showing them the tag that was pulled off the tree, they won’t give me the tree or the refund. The same employee continuously tells me that he will have to talk to the manager that sold my wife the tree. This worker told me each time that they have no way to check past transactions or pull it up in the system. If I can track my purchases, why wouldn’t a business track their transactions? I would never buy anything from this place. I left a voice mail and never heard anything back. These people are insufferable and impossible to work with.

Great selection, plants look very healthy and reasonably priced. Staff is very helpful!
Terrible customer service. I asked for a price on a plant that was inside from the kid working inside. His response was “I don’t know. It should be on it.” After checking again, I told him the price was not on it and he didn’t say another word - silence. I left and bought what I needed online.
Terribly annoyed with this place. I spent a little over $200 on an XL ceramic pot for a tree inside my home. I also needed a saucer to catch the water drainage. The lady inside ensured me that the saucers inside would fit my new pot and I should be good to go! I had to have my husband’s help moving the pot, as it was extremely heavy, and help replanting the tree due to its size. We did this the the first chance he was free to help which was also the same morning we were heading out of town for a few weeks. Of course after getting the tree potted, we realize the saucer is too small for the pot. Obviously, I couldn’t return the saucer that day because we were headed out of town. The week we get back, I take the brand new saucer with tags still on and the receipt back to Southbranch to get my money back. An employee meets me in the parking lot and asks if he can help me. He takes a look at my receipt and saucer in hand and says “I don’t even recognize that brand. We don’t sell that here, and we don’t do returns.” He said “Sometimes I’m nice and might take it the next day, but since it’s been almost a month, I’m not taking it.” I’m sorry, but yes you do sell that product, because I bought it here, it’s on my receipt, and your employee told me it would fit. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I will never go back. Way to treat the customers in your community Southbranch Nursery. You should be ashamed.
Only one knowledgable person works here. Everyone else was looking up answers on their phones and guessing. Also, I understand no returns on plants, but no returns on bagged products that are unopened? In 2025 there is no good reason for that other than “we got your money”. Bad business.
