I purchased two vitex trees from them. The staff was great and drove me around to show me all the trees. They probably spent close to an hour with me showing me the ENTIRE operation. Great experience. It was a little late in the spring to plant hardwood trees but I will be going back this fall to purchase several more for them.
I will definely buy from RockinL again. 6 trees, 4 45gal bald cypress, 1 45gal red oak, 1 oklahoma redbud. The cypress trees are healthy and have grown a foot+ in the first year. Red oak also doing really well. Very pleased with quality and price. Why not 5 stars? Simple, phone number inaccuracies and google maps innaccuracies. If they fixed those two things they will be 5 stars. As far as people saying he wont honor online price, its a volume thing. Buy more then one tree and he'll give you the internet price. He mostly sells to the lanscaping trades, builders, not home owners. The tree farm is 500 acres, he also sells sod.
We visited Rockin L Tree Farm to get new trees for out backyard. Because of recent heavy rains, it was too muddy to drive back to the trees, so they drove my husband back to the trees on their tractor. He was able to pick the trees that he wanted. They brought the trees to our trailer and prepared them for the trip to our home. Everyone was friendly and extremely helpful. It was a great experience!
WARNING...THIEF Owner is a thief, charges more than what's posted online, takes money and doesn't delivery. He cusses at clients and demands payment before delivery, then never shows up!!
I had a tree delivery scheduled from Rockin L and my landscapers coming same day to install trees before my daughter's birthday, and the owner did NOT honor the price online and cancelled my order for no reason. Owner is rude, only accepts cash, charges $450 for delivery. STAY AWAY!!! Owner chooses money or morals and integrity
