Incredible variety of beautiful and healthy container grown trees! The site is amazing. We showed Peggy (Bownds) a picture of our backyard and described the park-like setting we wanted to achieve with trees. Peggy was so generous with her advice and time. After giving us the golf-cart tour, she gave us several flags to place in containers of the trees we liked and then John helped us narrow down and select the perfect sizes for our backyard. We chose three 15 gallon Eagleston Hollies (5-6' planted) because we're DIYers; however, Bownds also offers delivery and planting services. If you've been shocked by the skyrocketing price of trees at the usual locations, then you will be pleasantly surprised at the pocket-friendly pricing Bownds extends to retail customers. Do not expect a large staff or miscellaneous garden center plants, this is a family-run business that specializes in trees and only trees. We will be returning soon for more trees to complete our backyard-to-park makeover.
