This year was the first time ever that we purchased a tree from a "box" store. Turns out the trees were supplied by Sexton tree farm. By far, it was one of the most beautiful trees we have ever had. The tree was up for about three weeks and barely lost a needle. The shape was beautiful and it was very fragrant. Hated to take it down. There were so many compliments about the tree by friends and family. Highly recommend Sexton tree farm.

The largest variety of fresh cut trees. If you need a 10ft or taller tree, this is the place to find them. The trees are fresh. These tall trees have become expensive over the last couple of years. Expect to pay around $400.

Edit: The company reached out to us and offered us a full refund. They took my pictures and videos of the tree to hopefully prevent this from happening in the future. They were extremely responsive and they would have replaced the tree if they had any left but didn’t. We had a long conversation about tree farms and they assured me this was a rare occurrence. This year (2022 Christmas) we decided to give them another chance because we love supporting local families. We had a beautiful tree this past Christmas that lasted well into February and our daughter adored it! The gentleman that worked with us to pick out our tree was awesome as well. I can be a bit picky and especially because of our experience the year prior I wasn’t taking any chances. He gladly opened tons of other trees and worked with us to find the perfect one. Updating my review from 2 stars to 4! This year is our baby girl’s first Christmas. My husband and I wanted to get a real tree as is tradition for me growing up, and as we have gotten a real tree the past few years together. We originally planned to go into Maryland and cut down our own tree but my husband got sick. Instead I found this place through searching online. They had pretty decent reviews and are a family business which I love as my family has a tree farm in upstate NY. We had a really nice time picking out our tree and the staff member that helped us was super attentive. However, here we are at 2 1/2 weeks of having our tree and it’s DYING. I’ve had trees in the past- I know how to care for them, water them, no artificial sprays, etc. I don’t even know that this tree will last until Christmas! It’s really upsetting because it’s my baby’s first Christmas and we might either have to dispose of the tree beforehand or not be able to have it lit up. I don’t even know what to do as so many places no longer have trees over 6feet. This is why I’m giving this place two stars. It all seemed great but beware of trees that will die WAY too soon. My trees usually last until after New Years.
