I can’t say enough good things about Sneed’s Nursery. They have been incredibly kind, understanding, and helpful throughout a very unfortunate situation involving ambrosia beetles. Their compassion and willingness to work with me—especially under extenuating circumstances—meant more than I can express. It’s rare to find a business that stands behind their customers the way they do. Jessica and her team are absolutely outstanding. Thank y’all so much!! Because of this experience, they’ve earned my trust and my business going forward. I will definitely be returning. Truly phenomenal service. Indubitably 5 stars.

Since moving to Richmond in 2022, Sneed's has been my go-to for everything that makes my yard come alive — plants, shrubs, flowers, and so much more. I love supporting local businesses, and after passing Sneed's so many times, I finally decided to stop in. I could not have been happier. The selection is incredible — so many colors, so many options — and I genuinely love walking around to see what's new each visit. But what makes Sneed's truly special is the staff. Over the years I've gotten to know many of their "green thumb" experts, and I consider them friends as much as yard gurus. Team members like Amber, Ashley, and Melissa have been invaluable in guiding me toward beautiful and often unique plants, shrubs, and trees that have made my landscape vibrant and colorful. Their knowledge is second to none, and whether you have a question or just need a little direction, they are always there with an answer and a great suggestion. Oh, and I absolutely love the "Charlie Brown" section!! If you are looking for a wonderful local nursery with an amazing selection and a staff that truly cares, Sneed's is your place. Fair warning though — every time you go, you will find something else to fall in love with, and the only challenge becomes figuring out where to fit it all in your yard!

Great garden center but my partner and I were accosted by the parking clerk in such an off putting and genuinely disrespectful way that we will never come again. I understand it’s a small parking lot, but there’s literally no reason why we should be reprimanded and borderline harassed for simply trying to load up our car? I literally told one of the clerks that I would be pulling my car around from the additional parking out back and she told me great and that I could leave my cart there. But when I pull up to the front I am immediately yelled at and accosted by the clerk. I am in the middle of pulling up and out of the way when she started yelling at me, and screamed at me for stopping when I was letting a family with children cross???? And then the entire time I’m loading up my car she is berating me and my partner, telling us we need to drive safely etc. (right after she advised I cut off a family lol) AND THEN when I tried to return our cart she yelled at me that that wasn’t where the carts go— mind you it’s our FIRST time coming!!! I don’t know where anything goes or how this works! You screaming at me and my partner while we’re trying to get out of the way is not helping. Just a terrible way to treat people nonetheless first time customers. If she had come to us kindly and explained where to put the carts, or that you can’t pull up and load your car up (even though we were told it was fine???) then it would’ve been a different experience and maybe we would’ve considered coming again.
