This is a very cute local plant nursery, and I genuinely enjoy having a small independent shop like this in the area. The space itself is charming, and it’s a fun place to bring the kids or stop by when family is visiting from out of town. It definitely has a nice atmosphere and feels like a pleasant outing. That said, it’s almost impossible for me to justify actually shopping here. Many of the prices—whether for plants or small shop items like aprons, coasters, and other goods—are extremely high. For example, I saw a four-pack of acrylic coasters priced around $50 that likely cost less than $15 to produce. It really surprised me. I completely understand that small businesses have higher overhead and need to price accordingly, but in many cases the same plants appear to come from the same suppliers you’d find at larger retailers like Lowe’s, where they’re often half the price or less. Because of that, it’s hard not to compare. Overall, I still enjoy visiting the shop as a local experience and think it’s a cute place to walk around, but the pricing makes it difficult to support as a regular place to buy plants or household items.

I love this place so I hate to leave a review like this, but I’ve been very disappointed in their Christmas trees the last two years. This year I spent $150 on a decent tree that passed the “shake test” at the nursery, but after a week of being in the house (always with water and fertilizer), the needles began falling out with just a tap of the tree. It sucks cause trees are astronomically expensive these days, and this one didn’t even make it until Christmas. I don’t want to get a fake tree, but it’s looking like the more financially responsible option these days.
