About the Nursery

Christmas Tree Farm. Top products: Noble Fir, Grand Fir, Fraser Fir, Douglas Fir, Norway Spruce, Colorado Blue Spruce. Farmer Brown's Christmas Tree Farm, located in Arlington, WA, is a seasonal horticultural operation specializing in the cultivation and retail of various conifer species. Situated on a 32-acre property, the farm offers a choose-and-cut experience for homeowners seeking live holiday trees. Their inventory includes a diverse selection of Noble, Grand, Fraser, and Douglas Firs, as well as Norway and Colorado Blue Spruces. Beyond plant production, the farm provides tree maintenance accessories such as stands and watering funnels. The business operates as an experiential venue, maintaining the grounds to include ponds, wildlife habitats, and designated picnic areas for visitors during the winter holiday season. While the business provides light food service, such as hot beverages and snacks, its core operational focus remains the cultivation and sale of ornamental Christmas trees on a large-scale agricultural site.

We’ve come here off/on over the years but this year nearly all the trees were 6’ or less (and that tall was few & far between), and most (except the Norway Spruces) were dead and/or diseased. Not sure if it’s the moss/waterlogging, the mixture of trees together or what but very sad to see. Besides the same price for all the regular trees (no matter the size or type) is, I’m sure, frustrating for people looking for smaller trees. We left without a tree and went to our normal spot.

Our favorite farm in North Snohomish county. They have meticulously groomed their trees and have a huge inventory of a wide variety of species and sizes. We went today at around noon and there were only a few other groups there, so no problem with crowd control.

It was exactly what youd expect. Lots of trees and good parking. Make sure you get a good saw from the front. I had to go back an get a better one after the first one turned out to be so dull. No big deal

Peaceful and wonderful tree farm! This place reminds me of an experience that you'd see in a small town movie-- think going into the country outside of Stars Hollow. This farm has a lot of character and you get a variety of types of trees all in one area. That made it fun to have surprises at every turn. Some logistical things: they have food and hot beverages on site, super nice! I love the pricing structure. One side had $98 trees and the other side trees were $115. I love the ease of the pricing structure because you know going in how much you'll be spending. With the pricing simplicity you can get a taller/nicer tree and don't have to worry about paying extra for the height or tree variety like you do at some farms. For example, some other farms in the area will charge $15-20 per foot of the tree height. What I wish I would have known prior: I wish I would have realized there were two different sides to explore! We missed the side with the higher priced trees, I wish we could have seen those as well, but now we know for next year! They also don't have a tree shaker, not the end of the world but just good to know. We did a good manual tree shaking once we got it home. Overall, super happy with the experience, but it would be good for the folks at the front to let people know of the two sides! We'll definitely be coming back next year--def recommend this spot! My in laws really enjoyed it too. Its pretty awesome to have the option of 32 acres of Christmas trees to shop from!
