I visited on a Sunday in July. I had no idea that rhodies bloom happens earlier in the year. I expected to see explosion of flowers, but saw almost nothing (not even in the green house). The garden isn't as well kept, lot of over grown. They still charge for $12 a person even without the flowers. When I ask if they'd consider a refund, a staff told me "No. Maybe next time a bit of research would help your visit." It's a disapointing visit. I much rather spend my time at Bellevue Botanical garden or Kubota garden. Free and well kept.

Wonderful experience. We happened to go on a day there was a market and a plant sale as the garden was free. There is also free parking and a 5 minute walk up to the gate. But the way is beautiful along the way. There's a gift shop with indoor plants and lots of nice items and books. Then theres a green house and with lots of exotic plants. If you go on the trails its such a magical experience even without the rhodies in bloom. So many paths to take and explore and so many different species to learn about. Its such a well maintained garden I would have gladly paid the entry fee to get in normally. Not dog friendly so leave your pets at home for this trip. But absolutely worth it. Afterwards check out the Pacic Bonsai Museum next door!
Was about an 1- 1.5 hours of casually strolling around the garden.

End of May, and hardly any flowers blooming. Lots of greenery and nicely maintained, but nothing worth taking pictures of. But, the Bonsai garden was a nice little treat; which was free.
