Walla Walla Green Growers Garden Center

I set out to find some new soil and supplies for my houseplants, and having received a coupon from this place in the mail, I thought I’d check it out and support a local business. It became clear that this place is for supplies related to growing weed specifically. Which is totally fine, and makes sense given that it’s right behind the dispensary, but it would be better if this was more apparent online. Upon entering the store, it was empty, devoid of anyone working there. A little white dog comes barreling out of a back room barking and being annoying. I am afraid of dogs due to being attacked by one some time ago, so this was already a bad experience. Thankfully, it wasn’t aggressive, it stayed a couple feet away, constantly barking. It continue to bark and follow me around the store. A man finally came out of the back room (didn’t even acknowledge me) and just said, “that’s enough [dog’s name],” a couple times. This was useless because the dog continued barking and following me. In a last effort before leaving the store, I bent down and held my hand out for the dog to smell, but it just kept barking and ran away. Essentially: I despise owners who think that their dog’s poor behavior is acceptable just because it’s a dog (dogs have the ability to be well-trained). The person there also just provided poor customer service by not acknowledging me or asking me if I needed help with anything. This might be a good place to buy weed-growing stuff regardless, idk. 1 star, wouldn’t come back even if I did decide to start growing weed

Seems like a great place, we Googled “nursery” and this came up. Not the type of nursery we were looking for. Seems like knowledgeable folks though.

I 100% recommend this store to anyone looking for anything to do with growing. They pretty much had all of the answers to my many questions surrounding creating a small indoor garden. I learned a lot from them about lights, watering systems, mediums, and best practices for maintenance. Their wealth of information made them my go-to place for anything related to gardening.

Great place for planting and growing supplies! We are planting a number of flowers from seed this year and found everything that we need at Walla Walla Green Growers Garden Center. Sampson is knowledgeable, friendly and provides great customer service. We have visited twice in the past two weeks and have appreciated the product availability of potting soil, seedling trays, and fertilizers. Prices are great! We are glad that we have found this wonderful store and will continue to buy here.
