Of the ~70 plants I ordered, about 99% are still alive and thriving. I have bought many seedlings from other nurseries and few have survived. The trees from here have not only leafed out and stayed green, they have also added new growth in year 1. So thrilled, will definitely be ordering from here again. Thank you!!

I have several years of experience in planting evergreen trees for a Southern state and thought it was unwise to plant in late April. February and March are the best times to plant here. My trees arrived and were immediately planted in accordance with CRN instructions. Although we are experiencing drought, I have been diligent in weekly watering. 75% of them didn't survive.

This is what you get as a 2-3 foot tree from Chief River Nursery! It’s 11” and don’t bother contacting them because they don’t care. “At this time, if the tree is still alive and showing green tissue and/or budding, it is considered viable and would not fall under our warranty coverage.” I paid for a 2-3’ tree not 11”!
