I had heard about Urban Roots upon recommendation from Dr. Jaime Parker as the premier microgreens provider in the Scottsdale/Phoenix Area. I stumbled upon the location just the other day after hearing their praises for sometime but not making it in. I was greeted by Ryan, one of the owners. He gave me a tour of the facility and informed me of the all they are doing and I was amazed! I purchased two salads upon Ryan's recommendation and not only were they delicious, but satisfying. My husband was equally as impressed and satiated. The greens are not the typical, "rabbit food" one would assume. Delicious and definitely a staple in our fridge from now on. Urban Roots micro greens have become a weekly staple in our house! We use them for salads, sandwiches, tacos, soups, pasta, pretty much anything! I’ve even put a big pile of broccoli greens on top of frozen potstickers with soy sauce and siracha, YUM! They are absolutely delicious and give our meals an extra boost of nutrition! I highly highly recommend!!!
