I've bought greens from the stand at the fairgrounds market in frederick a few times now. They're great on a sandwich or salad, or even just on a piece of chicken or fish. They've also made it very easy to eat with no chence of getting any growing-sediment in your food. They stay good for over a week in the fridge. They're all-around excellent and tasty greens.
The microgreens that this man grows are to die for! We love them on wraps, salads, sandwiches! The flavor of the arugula is unmatched! I would highly recommend these to anyone looking to add flavor to whatever you enjoy eating. To top it off they are also very high in nutrients compared to other sources of produce.
Maryland Microgreens has a wonderful variety of greens! My favorite microgreens— leeks! They have a wonderful flavor and add a tasty onion flavor to my sandwiches. The best on egg salad! I also love the arugula and the microgreens add a real kick to my salads or sandwiches! The owner is a trained chef so he can give you lots of suggestions how to use his microgreens.
The leeks are awesome! They go very well with my daily breakfast wraps which is a plus. Microgreens add just the right amount of additional flavor and nutrients without being overpowering. The customer service is second to none, as Craig is always prepared to educate his customers in regards to the growing process, various flavors (even what to pair with each) and other general information.
