While attending a farmers market, I had the pleasure of discovering Life on the Grow and learning about microgreens. As someone new to microgreens, I had lots of questions and was surprised with the knowledge of these urban farmers on how nutritious you can make almost any meal. Their expanding varieties of greens make it easy to add some of your favorite vegetables and flavors to a wide range of meals. I personally enjoy them with light snacks. I have been buying from these guys at the Henderson farmer’s market On Eastern for over a month now and love their product. I just used some fresh micro broccoli in a pasta dish tonight and consistently use a variety of micro greens in my morning shakes. It’s always a good idea to eat fresh greens and support local!
