What a great local source for pork, lamb, mushrooms and duck eggs! When we visited, the ducks were very lively! The land is beautiful and green and the animals live out their lives on beautiful pasture land before they are harvested. The farmers, Cheetah and Sammey, are gracious stewards of the land. They are committed to bringing our area locally grown, ethically made, organically produced food and products. Their knowledge base of how to ethically care for all parts of their farm, from the animals, plants/flowers and down into the soil itself, is vast. They truly care! You should definitely hit up their website if you are interested in things like: hydrosols, pasture raised lamb, gourmet mushrooms, gourmet duck eggs, and pork. They have a generous farm share you can participate in. You even get flowers!! I recently learned they also have a couple camping spots. One is called Purple Camp, and it’s a bit more primitive. The other features the Lycopero Dome! This site includes a queen size bed, wood stove, sink, mini fridge, TV, and plugs for charging etc inside. Outside there’s an outdoor kitchen with a Camp stove and even a hot shower. Overall, this is a great resource to have in our community.
