Shroomhouse

I’ve been to multiple workshops because I can’t get enough of their mushrooms! They are in a different league in taste and texture! The grow kits are generous and guaranteed to grow for multiple flushes. The workshops are so much fun and interactive with great beer and fantastic food featuring dishes with their mushrooms. They teach you how to easily grow your own gourmet mushrooms from grow kits and even help you scale up if you want to turn it into a backyard operation. I love that they are so down-to-earth and approachable, and hang out afterwards to field questions. These workshops always have such a wonderful vibe and attract the most amazing people, many of which are exchanging contact info and becoming instant best buddies! It’s such a worthwhile experience! I can’t recommend them enough!

Wholly heck, what a fun day learning everything mushroom. I went from nervous trepidation TO feeling extremely capable of cultivating my own mushrooms in just a couple hours! And to make it even better; the workshop was at Sac Yard Community Tap house. Man, a great class with cool people, and a tasty pint….? Learning does not get better than that! I have consistently had a warm and supportive experience with the folks at Shroomhouse. Brandon, Bethany, Max and all the folks that volunteer are genuinely good people. My first workshop was a gift from a friend and not only have I been able to grow many species of mushrooms, I’ve gained some friends as well. Mushrooms have so many lovely benefits and I feel like I learn more about them with every interaction. The workshops are a great jumping off point, but the support you get after the class has me hooked. In the beginning, I would send pictures and videos to the IG account and would get helpful tips and encouragement when I needed it:) I ask a lot of questions when I’m learning about things, and my questions have always been received and answered in such a clear and validating way. Which is a real gift when you are tasked to teach a group of people. I have had a few friends attend classes after they’ve heard me gush about it. And it’s been great because I am able to come hang out and keep my friends company while they take their class. Bonus for me: I can ask questions, get to help with cleanup, or just hang out. I am so grateful to have my “mushroom people,” they really do make my world a more fun and interesting place. Before and after pics of one of my first mushie babies:)

Shroomhouse workshops are so much fun! I’ve gone several times bc I learn something new each time and everyone has such a good vibe. I’ve been able to cultivate several batches of culinary mushrooms from a single kit. My last harvest was so abundant that I ended up drying half the batch to use for soups 😋

Great education on shrooms. Love the hands on. So knowledgeable speaks at a level everyone can understand. Love this couple. Energy out of this world. Trustful authentic kind and compassionate!!!!
