About the Farm

Organic Gourmet Mushroom Cultivation. Top products: Gourmet Fresh Mushrooms, Dual Extracted Tinctures, Educational Farming Workshops. Basidia Farms is a veteran-owned, vertically integrated mushroom farm located in Boise, Idaho, dedicated to the professional cultivation of high-quality, USDA Organic gourmet mushrooms. Founded by Cory, who transitioned from a career in cybersecurity to sustainable agriculture, the farm prioritizes organic integrity, avoiding chemicals and shortcuts in favor of eco-friendly, transparent cultivation methods. Their core offerings encompass both fresh, hand-picked gourmet varieties—including Lion's Mane, Oysters, Shiitake, Maitake, and Chestnuts—and a premium line of dual-extracted, full-spectrum mushroom tinctures. Unlike competitors that rely solely on powdered products, Basidia Farms uses both alcohol and water extraction to ensure maximum bioavailability of both water and alcohol-soluble compounds. Serving both culinary enthusiasts and health-conscious consumers, the business emphasizes community engagement through local partnerships and educational farm tours and workshops, reinforcing their commitment to sustainable, high-yield mycology.

They have the best lion’s mane tincture! It is a high quality organic, vegan tincture. I am lucky I can get it locally but very cool it will be available on Amazon so my friends can buy all over!

love buying mushrooms from these guys! I use them in pretty much everything I cook, pastas, soups, pizzas, sometimes just sautéed with herbs. Also my mother recently got some lions mane tincture from them and she’s had nothing but good things to say about it.

I bought this Lion’s Mane tincture from this company because apparently it “supports cognitive function, memory, focus, and nerve-regeneration,” which sounded like snake oil stolen from a wizard’s medicine cabinet, but I was willing to risk becoming a forest cryptid in exchange for remembering where I left my wallet. I took one dropper. ONE. And within the hour I was suddenly doing tasks I had postponed since 2019. I organized my taxes. I alphabetized my regrets. I began narrating my life like David Attenborough studying the mating rituals of procrastinators. It wasn’t subtle. It was as if my brain hired a personal trainer and suddenly went, “Enough. We are now a person who finishes things.” Before this tincture, my neurons were like drunk toddlers falling off a tricycle. Now they are a synchronized swim team wearing microscopic sequined swimsuits, accomplishing feats of focus previously reserved for monks and people who like CrossFit. I don’t know if Lion’s Mane truly stimulates nerve growth factor or if it simply bullied my nervous system into evolving out of fear, but whatever happened, I will not question it. I will merely bow in reverence and continue taking it until I am capable of teleportation or filing paperwork without crying. If you want to feel like your brain just clocked in for work wearing a power suit, this is it. Buy it. Take it. Ascend.
