The Hungry Forager

I highly recommend taking one of The Hungry Forager classes and reading George’s book Foraging Kentucky. I am infinitely grateful to have experienced both, they have really changed my life and the way I see the world.

I've taken several classes with George now and I can't recommend his classes enough. When I attended my first class I had never foraged for anything, and now I have a fridge stocked with wild mushroom, fruits, and greens that I've learned to ID and use myself. I still make the trip from Indianapolis to Kentucky to attend whenever possible.

If you like treasure hunting then foraging is for you!!! We went on a mushroom forage with George last year and attended one of his tincture classes, it was one of the best outdoor experiences! He is an expert and extremely knowledgeable about all foraging… mushrooms, trees, fruits, leaves, you name it! We found tons of mushrooms of various species on our hike. Unfortunately we don’t live in the state of KY anymore or else I would be taking every class George offers, which are very affordable and worth every penny. Don’t miss out on This experience!
