Great indoor mushroom course! Michael shared his experience and expertise showing us how to very successfully grow multiple types of mushrooms. If you are thinking of starting and succeeding at a mushroom business, this course is a must have.
Micheal is both knowledgeable and a good teacher. It was a lovely half day he shared with me in his hollar.
Every single product I have bought from these folks is incredible. My husband and I love the mushroom honey and the echinacea tincture. My personal favorite is the red cedar hydrosol. It is very refreshing in the muggy summer days. I also love that they create their products sustainably and use a minimal amount of plastic in their packaging. I have absolutely LOVED every Item I've ever tried from Sylvatica Forest Farm. I can tell that there is so much care, thought and intention put into everything they do and can count on the high quality and super clean organic ingredients every one of their products contains, with most of them being sourced directly from their own 60 acre farm. I'm a huge fan of their medicinal mushroom related products, such as their medicinal mushroom honey, mushroom seasoning salt, the mushroom hot cacao and the double extract tincture! They all taste so delicious and I get a daily immune boost without ever compromising on flavor! Surprisingly, for the most part the mushroom products don't actually taste intensely of mushrooms, they rather have earthy notes of cacao and spices which feel very satisfying. Joana and Michaels dedication to their land and community is so inspiring. I am in total awe of how prolific they are. From their tree nursery, to th many variety of mushrooms that they grow, herb and vegetable gardens, CSA's and the wide ranging culinary products and apothecary - this couple is truly unstoppable!
