This guy knows his fungi! I was at the Red River Market this past weekend and stopped by his booth to check it out. I love mushrooms, but was a little intimidated by all the different types he had for sale. Asked some questions and he narrowed down for me what I should start with as a “first timer” and even gave me a super simple recipe that I didn’t even have to write down to remember! Pasta, oyster mushrooms, Parmesan cheese, goat cheese, tarragon and some green onions on top! It was amazing!!! My kids had no idea there was no meat just mushrooms! 11/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️

The mushrooms are always fresh and taste great! It’s so fun to try other varieties than what you can find in a grocery store. Also, unlike the store, buying from someone who grows them locally gives me peace of mind that the produce isn’t old and of questionable quality. Chris, the owner, is very knowledgeable and is so helpful in explaining the different varieties and answering any questions. I highly recommend!
