Just wanted to say a big thank you to Chris and Kat! I had such a fantastic weekend. The beginner growing class really got me motivated to get working on my projects at home. Chris is so knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. He teaches tons of useful and interesting information from years of experience doing what he loves. It was also a pleasure to meet Kat and to enjoy a delicious homemade and healthy meal all while enjoying their beautiful homestead. On top of the hosts, the other students were a great bunch of like-minded folks, and I hope to see them again. Oh, I was also impressed with all that I got to take home. I left with five different inoculated substrates to get me started at home. I can’t wait to take another class next year! Thank you, Brian

Holy Cow-these guys are the real deal! We went through so much in-depth coverage that I ended up with dozens of pages of notes! The vegetarian dishes were sublime, and the whole time I was there I was treated like visiting royalty! I consider it to be one of the finest mycological training course out there, and I can not recommend it enough!! If you want to learn about mushrooms, from the medicinal, growing, cultivating and identifying standpoints then this is DEFINATELY the place to go!

My husband and I took the weekend class called, Backyard Mushrooms. We had the best time. Christopher and Kat were wonderful hosts and Chris facilitated so much learning during out time together. We walked through their property/woods to talk about mushrooms we found. We felt like we met a great group of new friends. We came home with a variety of inoculated substrates, too. If you are looking for a knowledgeable source to learn about mushroom growing and medicine making, we highly recommend them. We will be back in the future.

Christopher and Kat were wonderful hosts at a day-long workshop and I simply can't say enough good things about them. Chris has a strong working knowledge of his subject matter and is able to communicate that to his students, who are eager to learn from him. Others who attended our workshop were equally impressed. I will be back for future events and look forward to making new friends and learning from a great teacher.
