4/12/2023, Wed. Bulich Mushroom is a farm from NY with a farm stand located near the 17th st & Broadway, NW corner of Union Square at the Greenmarket on Wednesdays and Fridays from 8am-4pm. Bulich specializes in white button, crimini, shiitake, oyster, and portobello mushrooms, and at times during the spring, summer, and fall, foraged, wild oyster and maitaki and other mushrooms. I think the crimini mushrooms, cultivated naturally as with the other mushrooms, offer one of the best deals and are a powerhouse in flavor and nutrition, and they are fresher and more natural than what you can find in the organic section in grocery stores, and from the oldest and one of the last remaining mushroom houses in New York State. The owners and staff are also are very friendly and are great sources of knowledge in growing, cooking, and nutrition.
