About the Farm

Regenerative gourmet mushroom farm. Top products: Fresh Mushrooms, Black Garlic, Mushroom Coffee. Elemental Farm is a family-owned, South Texas-based agricultural enterprise dedicated to the principles of regenerative farming, permaculture, and land stewardship. Operating with a commitment to ecological health, the farm utilizes beyond-organic practices, strictly avoiding chemical pesticides, herbicides, and GMOs to cultivate a variety of crops, with a core focus on high-quality gourmet mushrooms. Their business model centers on direct-to-consumer relationships, primarily engaging with the local community through frequent appearances at regional farmers' markets. Beyond their fresh fungal offerings, the farm diversifies its catalog with value-added products, including black garlic, botanical teas, mushroom-based coffee, and plant nursery stock. The mission of Elemental Farm extends beyond mere production; they aim to educate the public on the importance of seasonal eating and environmental sustainability. By prioritizing local distribution, they actively work to reduce carbon footprints associated with food transportation while bolstering the regional food economy. The farm is currently focused on infrastructure improvements, such as rainwater harvesting systems, to increase their water independence and long-term resilience against climatic shifts.

Bought their mushroom pecan coffee. It is delicious. Not like other mushroom coffees. Will buy again.

Y’all truly have no idea the imprint you left on me. I met you on February 13th, 2021 , the day before the freeze — and even in that brief moment, something about your spirit, your honesty, and the way you care for the land stayed with me. Y’all are true stewards of the earth the kind of people others don’t forget. Down-to-earth, generous, and deeply rooted in what real stewardship means. The way you teach, the way you share your knowledge, the way you honor the land… it shifted something in me, and in so many of us here in South Texas. You taught us to work with the land, not against it. Everything you bring — your vegetables, spices, jellies, teas, coffees, and especially your mushrooms — carries that same care and intention. Those mushrooms are something else… you can tell there’s a real understanding there, not just of how they grow, but of what they offer — how they can nourish, how they can be used, how they fit into people’s lives. And even more than that, it’s the care, love, and wisdom you put into everything , it shows. Even the eggs you share are wonderful a reflection of that same thoughtful, respectful stewardship. Nothing forced, nothing wasted… just a natural rhythm guided by care. What you shared has stayed with me and shaped the way I tend my own little patch of earth. I’ve followed your guidance ever since. And no matter how prices rise, I will always support local growers like you — people who work this land with their hands, their hearts, and their values. I have the deepest respect for both of you. Truly. I’m so glad this article is giving y’all the recognition you deserve. You’ve earned every bit of it. Thank you for showing us what true stewardship looks like.🦋🦋🦋

This was a great experience. I can’t grow much, but my mom and her friends have 184624 green thumbs and can grow anything. I tagged along to be the photographer and found myself paying way more attention than I thought I would. This is a beautifully peaceful piece of earth tended to by beautifully passionate people. This world definitely needs more kindness, compassion, and love for our environment. People, plants and animals are loved here. It was a privilege to experience the vibe for a few hours. I’ve since started their anti-inflammatory tea on the daily and mushroom hot chocolate in my evening. Go meet them at their farmers market booth. Book a tour. At the least, have things shipped to you. You won’t regret it at all. 🌱

So I am a mom who struggles to calm my brain at night. I tried the Hot Cocoa with reishi mushroom and it's a relaxing wind down and keps me sleep and stay asleep. I tested one fro amazon one that had similar ingredients and it did nothing. Elemental Farms hot cocoa literally has helped me. I struggle with ptsd and it helps ease me to sleep. Highly recommend.
