The Mellow Mission

Unbelievably frustrating experience. Ordered plants for almost 300 Dollars - did not get any updates on delivery nor did anyone show up during the delivery window. There is no way to get support. Phone number is useless bot, email that is shared for support is a do-not-reply and order status and account options on the website are down. Very happy to overturn this review because the plants might be great, but so far this is a massive headache. I am considering driving (!) there to either receive my money back or getting help.

all the plants i've bought have come from mellow. i only started being a plant dad last august, but mellow (both haight and mission branches) has been my go-to ever since. they're not new to me either—i've actually been getting my haircuts from kg for quite some time. aside from having a great selection of plants, the staff are always accommodating and take the time to explain each plant's needs, including how to care for and water them. even on days when i'm not buying anything and just looking for advice, they're always generous with their knowledge, whether through instagram or in person. special shoutout to juice and jen (hope i'm spelling their names correctly) for always being so helpful. highly recommended!

I love this plant store because all the plants are so healthy and the Staff is very helpful. I got great advice and my purchases were wrapped up so that I could manage them for my walk home. Such a positive experience! I also bought pots which were very reasonably priced. Everything in one small business which is one of many reasons it is great to live and shop locally in San Francisco !
