Stopped by Sterling Gardens Nursery in Moorpark and this place is dialed in. Everything is laid out beautifully, making it easy to walk through and get ideas. Huge selection of plants, trees, and a really nice variety of fountains. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful without being pushy. If you’re planning a drought-tolerant yard or any kind of landscape project, this is a great place to start—they’ve got a little bit of everything and good quality too. Definitely worth the visit. This place rocks. Local love approved. DC Rock & Soil — Sand, Gravel, DG, Road Base… We Deliver.

I had never shopped at a nursery before and I was very nervous because I didn't know the process, but as soon as we parked, Brandon came right up to help. He answered all of our questions professionally and with good humor and had so much patience with my indecision and rambunctious toddler. The prices were excellent and the plants beautiful, I couldn't be happier with how my garden looks on my humble budget. Will definitely be skipping the big stores from now on and coming back to Sterling.
I came across Sterling Nursery by taking different route to my other favorite nursery and person, Saul at Nature's best a short distance from here. A place I frequented for over two decades. Sterling nursery is a pleasure to walk through and explore. Beautifully manicured, well maintained, healthy potted plants everywhere. Rows of bushes and trees. The sound of water from a central fountain drawing you to an area full of fountains. Amazing. A worker approached me and was very helpful. Apparently they could deliver and install the fountains as well. I bought 3 5 gallong Verbena bonariensis at a good price. I will definitely return and am seriously considering a fountain.
A lot of good choices and reasonable prices. The best part, they have a very helpful people.
