This place should be called Summerland PARADISE!! I got a delicious latte for only $5, as their coffee shop is donation based! Their veggies/fruits/herbs are all mostly non-GMO, which is SO important to me! The variety of these plants was amazing! Staff was so incredibly helpful and sweet—even this hummingbird thought so too.

So my overall visit experience was wonderful. I was super excited to have the time to come check it out, as it’s 45 minutes from me. The store was beautiful, the staff super sweet, a decent assortment and I got the cutest little vitamin planter for a great price. I came specifically looking for Hoya varieties and at this time there were 2. One I have a couple of already, the other I no longer had so I got it for $24.99. It was a bit leggy but I didn’t mind. At home I noticed a couple leaves at the base softer and yellowing so I just let it be as you should anyway. Long story short after losing an entire vine, my moisture meter still read moist in the center so I decided to put it in new soil and it didn’t have a single healthy root. The ones there were dried out and crumbled right off. So I have what’s left attempting to save it because an hour and a half drive total to exchange a plant that was even sold like this wasn’t what I expected from a garden center.
