I drive by Juniper Farms frequently and always on my way someplace with no time to stop. Yesterday I had a few free minutes so I stopped. I wish I could have explored all the plants, but was able to buy two large poinsettia plants! I only wish they had orchid supplies!

We spent a lot of money ordering 4 pallets of Bahia sod from Juniper Farms in Ft. Myers, and sadly, only 2 pallets were decent. The other 2 were in terrible condition — dry, crumbling, and falling apart as we tried to lay them. It was clear they were either old or poorly handled. For the price we paid, we expected much better quality. This was a big investment for our property, and we’re extremely disappointed. I wish I would've called them the day we received the sod to give them an opportunity to make it better, unfortunately I waited a few days. (my mistake) Called the owner and he said they couldn't do anything for us at this point, that it was too late to make it better. However, the sod was still very poor considering he claimed it was just cut. I’m sharing this to warn others to carefully check the quality before buying.
