Horrible Sod. Dry and low quality. Wanted to give me more sod to replace it. Declined and asked for partial refund equal to that amount and denied it. Dry, brittle and brown. Beware.

Got the Texas A@M cobalt blue. Suppose to be drought and insect tolerant. Planted a pallet (half in Orlando and half in Tavares Fl). Both got chinch.

3 pallets of sod came infested and half dead. No help from sod depot team after delivery, only excuses. Lasted a few weeks and the rot took over. edit for the response from owner- I gave your company multiple chances to come up with a solution. Before the sod was installed, I tilled the area and used the topsoil purchased from your company. The sod then arrived about two weeks late because your harvester was down. When it finally arrived, it was not in the condition I expected. It was full of bugs and spiders and appeared stressed. The "healthy" picture you're referring to was taken after I spent considerable time and effort trying to bring the sod back and correct those issues. That photo was not proof that the sod arrived healthy, it was proof that I worked hard to save it. You mention that the sod looked healthy in the photos, but even in those photos you can see deterioration beginning from both ends of the yard. You also stated that you're certain I've replaced sod in that area before. That's simply not true. The only sod I've replaced there was sod purchased from your company. I understand that weather can affect sod. I live in Florida and am well aware that fungus, insects, heat, and heavy rain can create problems. What I disagree with is the assumption that this issue was caused by my maintenance when the sod arrived late and in questionable condition to begin with. At this point, it feels like every concern I've raised is being dismissed while the responsibility is being placed entirely on me. I was hoping for a fair resolution, not an explanation of why none of this could possibly be your company's responsibility. I also find it interesting that you're now offering a discount on a future purchase as a goodwill gesture. That was one of the first solutions I suggested when this issue was raised, and at that time I was told no. What has changed since then? If the company truly believes the sod arrived in good condition and that the current issues are solely the result of weather and maintenance, then I'm struggling to understand why a discount is now being offered when it was previously denied.
