Tulio was professional and very helpful, exactly the type of service that brings customers back. His staff is just as good with the clean work they performed at my house. I’ll be back, five stars for T & C Nursery.

They have good plants. And at good prices.
Tulio was very kind & attentive . He came over to help me (even tho he was handling another task) & asked if I needed any help, right away. He happily walked around showing me all the trees to answer my questions. The prices were half of what I expected ! The plants are healthy & well cared for! I bought a money tree & picked out a Christmas palm! They deliver and plant the tree! The money tree was biiig & needed a trim, which Tulio took care of for me ! Great , simple experience !
100% Recommended. Recently purchased 7 palms (25,45 Gallons). Everything was great: Palms, Price, Communication, Delivery. Experience and Friendly Staff. Definitely, I will come back to buy more plants.
My wife and I recently hired T&C for minimal landscaping and plants. We did so for many of the reasons other reviewers gave them 5 stars. We cannot, however, give better than 3 stars for reasons outlined below. I will begin with the positives: the owner, Tulio, communicates well and was kind when discussing our possible choices. He gave us options, made suggestions, and was generally fair priced. Not the least expensive, but not the most either. In reliance of Tulio’s expertise, however, come the negatives. We showed Tulio our driveway and the work we needed to get done. We showed him multiple different angles of the drive way and explained our vision. Tulio then made plant suggestions, specifically quantity. Odd to my wife and I, Tulio under counted the plants. He suggested 7 clusias (7 gallon) for a 20 foot natural fence and 10 serissas for (where the intent is for them to grow into box hedges) for our island. I explained to Tulio that the figure seemed low and asked for him to send extras, which he did. 3 more clusias and 5 more serissas. Tulio was supposed to have these installed. Things began going south the day before install. He demanded upfront payment via Zelle. Fine, I sent the Zelle and screenshots proving so. For some reason, the Zelle was held up. He called me 2 minutes before 6pm and said I had to pay with my credit card or he would not come the following morning. Oh, and with my card - it’d be more expensive. Whatever, fine. But then I couldn’t cancel the Zelle because the money had been “sent.” Sure enough, at 7:01 he sent me a screenshot that he received the Zelle. He allegedly voided my card transaction (we’ll see about that in the coming days). When his employee shows up the next day (late, at 10:45 for a 9am job - this was due to an alleged train accident, but 1:45 traffic extra does not follow), it became immediately apparent that this was not enough. It first became obvious that I needed 5 more serissas. For the serissas, I went to the local nursery and overpaid for 5 more. Fine, no problem. Once the worker got started on the clusias, it became obvious that we needed 2 more. The employee and I agreed to go to Home Depot (after he was done with planting these) to get 2 more. In discussing how we used all the extras and needed even more with Tulio, he then flipped a switch with me - refusing to allow the worker to go 5 minutes from my house to get the two extra clusias and to plant them. He went on a rant that we were “breaking the contract.” I repeatedly asked him what the problem was and what he wanted. He then demanded $150 extra for the (at most) one hour of work to plant the remaining two plants. I tried to offer him extra money for labor, but that $150 for the extra labor was simply not reasonable. This was a total of 12 minutes of discussion, of which Tulio repeatedly lost his cool. He ranted about the work already being late, and another job, etc. but then had no response to the fact that the employee was nearly two hours late. Frankly, my impression - and I said this to Tulio - was that he was trying to take advantage of a situation where he knew it would be an undue burden for me to go get 2 more clusias in my car with my 1 year old son in tow (I didn’t mention this earlier but we went with our son to the location, discussed it with him during scheduling, etc.) and bury them myself. Put another way, Tulio tried to extort an extra $150 from to bury two more clusias. I did not capitulate, and I laid it out for Tulio. The amount of energy and behavior he was expending in the argument - even though I was willing to pay more for labor (though not ripped off) - was only going to cost him a customer. He did not care. So, not only will we not be going back to get plants for the remainder of our projects, but we strongly recommend against using him to our friends and family.
