About the Nursery

Ornamental and Edible Greenhouse Nursery. Top products: Tropical houseplants, Edible fruit trees, Berry bushes, Ornamental foliage. Elizabeth & Alexandra is a horticultural enterprise founded by sisters Patricia and Kimberly Dewar, leveraging a multi-generational family legacy in greenhouse production. The business specializes in a dual-category catalog: a robust selection of tropical houseplants—including Monstera Thai Constellation, Philodendrons, and Ficus varieties—and a collection of edible plants such as papaya, banana, fig, olive, and various berry bushes. Their operations focus on cultivating high-quality, resilient plants designed for residential indoor and outdoor environments. Unlike traditional standalone garden centers, Elizabeth & Alexandra operates as a commercial grower and supplier that integrates its horticultural output directly into nationwide grocery retail channels. Their mission bridges traditional growing expertise with modern home-living trends, ensuring that both ornamental and food-bearing crops are optimized for survival in retail and home settings.

The lush tomatoes!! i love to pick cherry red tomatoes from my compact plant i eat directly like a fruit tomatoes are yummy! just like tomatoes in stores! so much fun to watch my compact tomatoes plant grow 40 plus more green tomatoes and yellow flowers means more tomatoes! once they turn cherry red i pick and eat right away per advice from Elizabeth &Alexandra is good to keep the plant healthy! they have nursery grow veggies! it is more healthy no dressing when i pick tiny tomatoes directly from my compact tomatoes plant!

Love this nursery! Super friendly - and super unique plants and trees. I bought an olive tree! And, in Michigan, I just learned they sell olive trees through Trader Joes, Kroger and Aldi. That's quite a resume. :)

This company is honestly amazing! First of all I see their plants in stores and they are always in good healthy condition. With that being said, I bought an olive tree from my local Kroger and unfortunately it died quickly and unexpectedly. This of course was disappointing because well it wasn’t cheap for one 😆 and for two I had dedicated this olive tree to God with the intentions of taking good care of it and symbolism for my spiritual journey. So you can imagine how impactful it was on me when it suddenly died. I reached out to the company and they responded in a timely manner to my concerns. Long story short the CEO himself emailed me and told me he will replace my tree! He asked me if he could send me a bigger inch because I guess they were out of the inch I had bought from the store and I gave him permission to do so. I was happy to see my package arrived only about 2-3 days later, so the shipping wasn’t long at all! And I was PLEASANTLY surprised to see they had not only replaced my original olive tree with a bigger more beautiful one, but they sent me TWO olive trees! The trees seemed to be two different varieties of Olive tree but they were both healthy and gorgeous! This company’s kindness and professionalism was out of this world! God blessed my prayer and I hope he blesses this company. Thank you Elizabeth and Alexandra: Life in Bloom ❤️
