O.F. Nelson has an absolute premium selection of roses, unparalleled to anything I've seen before. For being as large and busy as they are, they run a pretty clean place. The staff are absolutely the best, very friendly and extraordinarily helpful and knowledgeable. I had an entire bouquet of roses that had been cut for me by Mrs. Petra by the time I left. I will be a customer for many years to come.

My Mother's absolute favorite place!!! She adores her rose plants. They are so very helpful and assist you with your beautiful rose plants! Highly recommend checking them out!!!

UPDATE: 3mo later— we get MASSIVE, fragrant blooms every 2-3 days. I have fresh roses all over my house constantly. They smell amazing and look incredible!! Original review: My garden is going to be sensational!!! Went to their nursery today for the first time - it is only open to the public on Saturdays - and WOW what a great experience!! I am very new to growing roses and I was a littler nervous to go at first. But when we got there, two women up front explained the process and were very welcoming and kind! I wish I remembered their names. Then, when my husband and I went back to find some, Petra (another worker there) heard me say I loved the look of classic roses and ones with a sweet rosey fragrance. She came over to us and started clipping roses and offering us ones to smell. She was so delightful and knowledgeable at the same time & we had huge smiles on our faces as she guided us through rows of roses and helped us find the perfect ones!! She took the time to explain how they grow and show us how to prune them properly for the best shapes and happiest blooms. We were initially only going to purchase some small bushes to try first but after talking with her, we felt more confident and we decided to go with a stunning 7gal of reds (Chrysler) and a 3gal of whites (Pope John Paul). When we paid, they also gave us a care sheet which includes an email address we could contact / send pictures if we ever need help. There are also hidden gems in their nursery such as fruit trees and other flowering plants! I will definitely shop at Nelson’s again and recommend them to everyone I know!!
