I've purchased several Japanese Maples from Maple Ridge Nursery over the years. My order arrived promptly, the trees were expertly boxed for shipping and they arrived intact. However I must agree with others when I say the one gallon sized trees do not equal the standard one gallon of other similar online nurseries. I'll likely consider purchasing again from Maple Ridge Nursery but would prefer a more complete description of the container size used for their "one gallon" Japanese Maple products. It is for this reason I've given 4 out of 5 stars.

The tree took longer to come than expected and I feel my request to cancel is what prompted it to be sent when it was. I received no communication from the company regarding my order but received plenty of general,/sales emails. The tree seems to be doing well, so far. It was packaged well.

Ordered 16 plants, 4 arrived scorched. Not sure the 4 scorched trees will survive. Shipping was delayed due to heat but I feel like it should have been delayed longer. Sent pics to the nursery but was told they might push out new growth. Not happy at all with 1/4 of my order. Most likely wont order again Update 5/21/26 5 did not survive over the winter. They never releafed last summer. I had a cart with 24 plants and asked them a question about their next restock. Took 2 days for them to respond. 4 plants went out of stock in that period. I reduced my order and used the store credit, given for the sickly trees. If they didnt offer free shipping, id be ordering else where

Seems the #1 cans I bought were more tree plugs put in a #1 can and not true well rooted trees. Not what I expected.
