About the Nursery

Native plant specialty nursery. Top products: Native perennials, Native shrubs, Native trees, Native groundcovers. Nearly Native Nursery and Native Oasis Botanical Garden, located in Fayetteville, Georgia, is a specialized horticultural operation focused on the propagation and sale of native plant species. Unlike general garden centers that primarily stock imported or exotic nursery items, this nursery emphasizes the ecological benefits of regional flora, highlighting plants that are naturally adapted to local soil, moisture, and pest conditions. Their inventory is curated to provide sustainable alternatives for diverse landscape environments, including challenging conditions such as low, damp ground or steep, dry slopes. The business caters to homeowners and landscaping professionals looking to incorporate low-maintenance, drought-tolerant species that support local biodiversity, specifically providing host plants for butterflies and moths and food sources for native songbirds. By focusing on native propagation, the nursery aims to educate consumers on ecological gardening and the aesthetic potential of regional botany.

The nursery has a very wide selection of very beautiful native plants and trees. We picked up some vines for our fence and a native Mulberry tree. I'll be going back to get some Paw paw trees, once I figure out where I'm going to plant them in our yard.

Finally made my way out here after years of wanting to go. The visit was an absolute dream. Everyone was incredibly friendly and fun to talk to and super knowledgeable. The pricing was also very reasonable. I can't wait to go back!!

I have lived in Fayetteville all of my life and haven’t been here before until my older brother found his passion for gardening and native plants. We went to this nursery together and Jim and Debi couldn’t have been nicer! I wish I had known about this place my whole life because there is so much variety and so much I didn’t know about natives that I know now!! It’s such a hidden gem and I love it. If you haven’t been you’ve got to go!
