They serve a broad customer base, primarily consisting of residential homeowners and local gardeners seeking to optimize plant growth in an arid climate. I love my local Zamzows store! I love that I get a lawn program discount. I love that they have a wide variety of products. It's a small store, but they always have what I'm looking for. And the staff are a great help whenever I need it.

Stopped in for crickets. You have to get your own crickets at this location. I sat on the floor counting out 200 small crickets. I came up to the register and told her how many. She held the bag above her head and questioned the amount in the bag. I told her she was welcome to recount them, I'd wait. Another employee was at the register and told her it was fine. She told him in orientation they were told to check the number of crickets. Again, I was more than willing to have her recheck how many I sat on the floor and counted. I'm not a fan of self service only to be questioned.

The people at the front are great but I do not recommend re-potting your plants here. The lady who repotted mine was very rough with my 3 year old plant and broke one of the stems off. Didn’t seem to care whatsoever.
